SHELBY HOFER
Shelby Hofer is the Co-director of PushPush Arts, where she champions film and theater artists with distinctive opportunities to take risks, explore new ideas and collaborate. Shelby is also an actress, writer, producer. She has appeared on many many screens and stages locally, nationally and internationally over the last 20+ years. Several years ago she began writing and performing her work at literary events. She is a four-time champion at Write Club Atlanta and has performed stand up comedy since 2015 in some of Atlanta’s favorite comedy clubs including The Punchline and Laughing Skull Lounge, as well as at venues from Phoenix to New York. She is currently devising an immersive theater production (originally developed with support from Idea Capital and the National Endowment for the Arts) that chronicles her wayward attempts liberate her own inner child while also trying to have an actual child. She grew up in College Park, GA and now lives in Decatur with her husband and partner, Tim Habeger, and greatest production to date, young Max.

NATHAN SHARRATT
Nathan Sharratt is an accomplished visual artist. He spent over a decade working in the commercial art and tech-media industries in New York City where he amassed a vast array of creative technical skills and witnessed firsthand the effects of technology, mass media and consumerism on discourse and cultural growth. He now uses that knowledge and experience for the benefit of the greater Atlanta creative community through his personal artistic practice as well as his curatorial and arts-entrepreneurial projects. Nathan is developing several Seedworks projects, and curated the Seedworks beta-residency exhibition Hearts Fair in 2016. Nathan studied film at Pratt Institute, animation at the School of Visual Arts, and received his BFA in sculpture with a minor in animation from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011. He received his MFA in 2016 from Georgia State University, where he was a Dean’s Fellow, a Student Innovation Fellow, and recipient of the Chandler Award. He has exhibited at the High Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, the Zuckerman Museum of Art, and the Atlanta Contemporary, among others. Notable commissions include Art on the Atlanta Beltline, Elevate, Dashboard, Zuckerman Museum of Art, and HLN Network at CNN World Headquarters. His first solo exhibition was curated by Dashboard and received several critical awards. He was named an Artist To Watch in 2013 by The Atlantan, and received a 2015 Best Of Nashville award for his performance of Be My Blood Brother at Seed Space. He is a Hambidge and Vermont Studio Center Fellow, a 2012 visiting artist for the Center For Chemical Evolution, a 2013-2014 Walthall Fellow, and was selected for the prestigious Studio Artist Program at the Atlanta Contemporary. His work is in the permanent collection of the High Museum of Art and other private collections.

TIM HABEGER
Tim Habeger is the co-director of PushPush Arts. Tim worked with Ellen Stewart at La Mama and Terra Incognita. He was an ensemble member at The Neighborhood on Theater Row and taught film at AMDA. He received a Rockefeller award for Arts Education with former students including Deborah Kampmeier, David Cross, Sahr Ngaujah, Daniel Pettrow, and Donald Glover. In Atlanta, he co-developed The Portal International Exchange Program, providing hundreds of artist exchanges. In filmmaking, he co-developed Dailies Filmmakers, a formidable underground workshop that launched numerous careers and produced 250 short films, 20 hybrid media productions and several features including, The Signal, which premiered at the Sundance Festival and was nominated for a Cassavettes’ Spirit Award. Tim is a recipient of many grants and awards and his scripts and adaptations have toured in Germany, Argentina and France, including Faust Module, funded by the US Department of State. Current screenplays include the interactive jazz film/play, Intersection of Dreams, and two long-form serials: Slow Down, a comedy about modern-day racism (Turner Voices), and GRFX, a fictional series about a struggling international comic book company.

AIMEE MCCOY
Aimee McCoy is Co-founder of The Artizen Company (TAC) a theater and film company based in Georgia. Since 2013 she has served as managing director and co-artistic director, regularly taking on the roles of educator, director, producer, filmmaker and actor. She has jointly directed and produced TAC’s original presentations A Taste of Artizen (2013), Kuzaa (2013), The Procreation Parade (2014), Silent Encounters, (2015/2016), Strange Fruit (2017), I’m Pregnant…(2018). Also, a filmmaker, Aimee directs and produces TAC’s film projects. She is currently working on a documentary of a southern collector and historian. McCoy has been a core PushPush artists for over a decade, spearheading numerous youth programs and productions. A graduate of Agnes Scott College, previous Alternate ROOTS Artistic Managements Fellow, and lifelong learner dedicated to creating positive change with her work.

JENNIFER BATES
Jennifer Bates is an actor and writer, a PushPush artist, and was instrumental in the development of Seedworks as a working artist in comedy, film, and theater. In 2006, Jennifer began collaborating with several independent filmmakers through PushPush’s film program resulting in a film adaptation of David Mamet’s short play, 4AM, which she acted in and co-produced with Abstract Pictures. 4AM premiered at the 2012 Atlanta Film Festival and was later nominated for the Oglethorpe Award for Excellence in Georgia Cinema. In 2013, she co-produced with HI HO FILMs the documentary feature, D’artagnan is the Champion, which was invited to the Equus Film Festival in Harlem, NYC, where it received the People’s Choice Award. Most recently, Jennifer worked with Atlanta filmmaker, Bret Wood, in his new film, Those Who Deserve to Die, playing the role of Rachel and scheduled to be released this Fall. Additionally, Jennifer performs improv, solo sketch and stand up comedy at Atlanta venues including Highwire Comedy Co., The Village Theater, Joel Byars Funny Monkey, The Punchline and Laughing Skull lounge. Jennifer is a Standardized Patient for Emory University’s Clinical Skills department. You may also catch her on Discovery ID’s Bloodlands TV show, the Signal Mountain episode. Jennifer has a BA in Theater from The University of Georgia.

CLIVE SALMON
Clive Salmon has been a filmmaker and producer in New York since 1998, and has recently moved back to Atlanta. Most recently he is known for his work on Win Win (2011), Pariah (2011) and Top Five (2014). He is currently producing a documentary about one of the most iconic and emblematic albums of the 1990s: Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, focusing on the lives of the teacher and the 12 children that made up the classroom interludes on this iconic album. This documentary (a Seedworks project) catches up with the teacher, Ras Baraka (now Mayor of Newark, NJ) to delve into his life, and the lives of the 12 students following the success of the album.

ELISA M. FAY
Elisa M. Fay is the Board Chair of PushPush, and a Founding Member of Seedworks. As a Certified Public Accountant and the Partner-in-Charge of Rödl and Partner’s U.S. National Tax Practice, she has 25 years of business and accounting experience and has been on the PushPush board since 2005, as Treasurer, and now as Board President. Elisa is a native of Atlanta and has a passion for the arts and seeing Georgia step into its own as a content creator. She is also a poet, singer and pianist. With PushPush founders and a team creative consultants from The Difference, she facilitated a 3-day, 40-person forum presented by PushPush in 2016 called CultivatATL, of which Seedworks is the result.
